At Stella Care, we are continuously working to make our solutions more stable, user-friendly, and effective in everyday use.
That is why we are pleased to introduce Smart Track, a new feature in our GPS watches that makes reporting more intelligent and better aligned with real-life care situations.
Reporting that follows the user’s movement
With Smart Track, the watch reports based on the user’s activity rather than fixed time intervals. This means the watch adapts to the user’s movement instead of sending positions according to a predefined pattern.
In practice, this results in more efficient battery usage, as the watch only operates when something relevant is actually happening.
The result is that battery life can be significantly extended, depending on how active the user is in daily life.
Operational flexibility
The existing time-based working mode is, of course, still available. You can therefore freely choose the solution that best suits your operations and the needs of the users. For some, Smart Track will be the preferred choice to achieve longer battery life, while others may continue to prefer a fixed reporting interval.
This flexibility makes it easier to adapt the system to different users, environments, and workflows.
This is exactly what Stella Care aims to support: technology that works in real life, not just in theory.
Focus on stability and collaboration
Movement-based reporting is part of our ongoing efforts to improve operational reliability and make our solutions even more stable.
The feature has been developed in close collaboration with municipalities that use Stella Care’s system every day and have shared valuable feedback on the need for flexible settings and extended battery life.
Activation and support
The feature is already available in the administration system under device settings.
If you have any questions or would like to learn more about how Smart Track can be used in your daily operations, our support team is ready to help.
